I help people feel good in their body with body & mind exercise. And I’d love to help you!

Hi, I’m Maja!

This is me in 2015!

I started teaching Pilates in 2014, while still in University and studying psychology.

I started practicing Pilates when I was 19, because I had sudden lower back problems that appeared at that time.

After a few years of practicing I took a teacher training to learn about Pilates deeper, then immediately got hired and that's how my career started.

During these 12 years, I’ve worked with so many different clients of all levels - from complete beginners, to amateur athletes, to people with injuries.

I’ve took different teacher trainings, workshops, and still continue to develop my knowledge and education.

Here are some of my most important courses and certifications:

  • BASI Pilates Comprehensive Teacher Training - mat and all equipment

  • BASI Pilates Mentor Program

  • bodyART Certification and advanced training modules

  • Fascia Anatomy Training (ATiM)

  • Many workshops and smaller courses

I’ve moved countries twice (from Serbia to Turkey, and then to Greece), and because of that (as well as the abrupt change in the world in 2020) I started working online even with clients who lived far from me.

What all my clients have in common is that they exercise to:

  • be healthy

  • to feel good in their body

  • to be skilled in movement

  • to improve their mood

- all with a goal to feel good now, but also to be healthy and functional in the future as they get older.

And that is exactly my philosophy of exercise, too. Healthy body, healthy mind, active and happy life - now and in the future.

If you’re here, chances are you are one of us, and I welcome you!

My mission is to help you lead a healthier, more active and more mindful life, so you can feel good and empowered no matter what life throws your way.

Maja ❤️

How I do things and what I believe in:

1 Exercise is ‘movement hygiene’ - something you do regularly and is a core part of your life.

2 Exercise is (partly) physical education - so you have the knowledge to take care of yourself and to make decisions about your body and your movement.

3 Exercise practice should be sustainable - to avoid burnout and maintain consistency.

4 A healthy relationship with exercise creates better results and makes you happier.

5 Body and mind are connected - when we work on our body, we must include the mind, as well.

One last thing:

If you’ve read this far, chances are you are already an aware and mindful person who cares about their health - and you want to build a healthy routine and do good things for yourself.

I want you to know that you don’t need to do this 'perfectly' - exercising 6 days a week, breaking a personal record in every workout, while eating super clean. All those things don’t necessarily mean ‘health’.

You just need to do exercise that you love (or want to start loving) and improve your skills over time.

Whenever you’re ready, I (and Tidal Moves) will be here. Let’s start building a healthy present and future - that you feel good in.

If you’re ready... Let’s get you stronger!

The first step to getting stronger is building the foundation with Pilates Fundamentals.
